Please help a trans woman of color survive this
I've already been sick two other times since October began and used up all my sick pay (first time was a really bad flu, second was a nasty throat infection that made eating and swallowing difficult for several days), and already ate through most of my savings during that time. Now I physically cannot return to work for however long I'm going to return a positive test, and I don't know how long that's going to be. I've begun the process of applying for FMLA leave, but that's not guarenteed to work and I don't know how long that will take to be approved.
If you can donate any amount of money at all, it would go a long way in helping me make it through this. I don't know how else I'll be able to afford rent, bills, food, etc.
I know I've made a lot of donation posts recently, but I don't know what else to do. I'm always touched and struck by the kindness of my followers, and if anyone is able to help, I will be extremely grateful.
